Welcome to the new theme ! What an event last month... Wow! 60 Art Journal entries!  Such pleasure for our eyes to see such beautiful work!  If you want you can take a quick review on our you tube channel - here.
For june we have choosen the theme *HOME*

-reflect on the term home----homeland,  motherland,  native land,  mother country,  native country,  hometown - show us what you feel about this term.

Valerie Jael from Bastelmania made the fabulous example for us. Thank you  dear  Valerie! Here is a little introduction from Valerie - read a bit about her world and arts.

"I have been painting and crafting as long as I can remember. I was born and grew up in London, and no matter where I am or where I live, London is and always will be the place I think of as 'home'. After completing my studies in Lincoln, Nottingham and London I was a teacher for 35 looooong years - you don't even get sentenced to that much for murder! After retiring I worked for 6 years in an old people's home, where I was responsible for everything to do with religion, including taking services, organising celebrations, comforting those who were dying and often doing the funerals, too. Since I left there I have time to paint and craft all day, everyday , and that is what I mostly do. H*******K is not something I like, I prefer to go for walks through our pretty little town and along the Rhine."

Für den Juni haben wir das Thema *Zuhause* ausgesucht. Denk an Heimat,  Heim,  daheim, Vaterland, Mutterland,  Land der Vorfahren .  Valerie Jael von Bastelmania , die in London aufwuchs und dort studiert hat, kreierte diesmal unser Beispiel - Ihr Herz,- wo immer sie auch lebt -schlägt für ihre Heimatstadt und das wird immer so sein ! Ganz lieben Dank dafür Valerie , es ist wunderschön!

05/2013 Challenge Yourself / Fordere Dich selbst heraus

Create an entry in a technique / color / manner  you usually do not! Watch your creativity blossom when you step out of your norm  into unknown territory. Feel free within the topic of  this month - but don´t forget to join in and link your entr(y)/ies .

I challenged myself to draw the human body. I first started in my sketchbook by following the instructions of a drawing course book - I admit my drawings are mortifying - but I do not care about. Adding some colors ( pastel crayons) and making a few marks with rubberstamps transformed my entry into a spread I even like now. Have fun ! That should be  the most important basis point of every Art Journal page! This month we also want to recommend  the weekly PAINT PARTY FRIDAY

an amazing event to participate or just to enjoy the nearly 100 entries every week!

Zeig uns etwas  in Deinem Journal in einer Technik / Farbzusammenstellung / Art und Weise, die Du normalerweise nicht verwendest!  Du wirst sehen - auch das macht Spaß und Du wächst ja auch mit jeder Herausforderung in Deinem Tun und Deinen Techiken! Ansonsten setzen wir Dir innerhalb des diesmonatigen Thema's  keinerlei Grenzen, außer dass wir Dich bitten,  Dein(e) Art Journal- Werk/Werke hierher zu linken! Ich hab mich herausgefordert menschliche Körper zu zeichnen , hab in einem Skizzenbuch angefangen nach einem Zeichenlehrbuch zu zeichnen und unbeholfene Zeichnerei-zugegeben, aber Farbe  ( Pastellkreiden) und ein paar Stempelchen zugesetzt bin ich nicht mehr so unzufrieden ! Also! Legt los und habt Spaß, denn das ist wohl das WICHTIGSTE an jeder Art - Journal - Seite!
Diesen Monat möchten wir auch extra auf eine ganz tolles wöchentlich stattfindendes Event hinweisen und Euch empfehlen da mal mitzumachen oder zumindest mal die fast 100 wöchentlichen Beiträge ein wenig zu genießen dort.
Die PAINT PARTY FRIDAY ist einfach toll!

02/2013 : FRIEDE /PEACE

Für den Februar 2013 wünschen wir uns  FRIEDEN. Naja - den wünschen wir für immer..
aber als Thema haben wir es für den Februar geplant!
Wir hoffen Ihr habt Spaß mit dem Begriff und könnt ihn in Euren Journaleinträgen gut umsetzen. Wir freuen uns schon auf all Eure "FRIEDENSSEITEN". Guckt auch links oben in unserer Sidebar, da gibt es einen Bild-Button, den ihr in Euren Blogposts verwenden könnt, damit die Leser beim Anklicken des Buttons direkt zu unserem Blog hier gelangen. Kopiert einfach den HTML-Code in Euren Veröffentlichungs-Post ( HTML vorwählen- danach einfach wieder umstellen, wenn Ihr blogger seid): Das ist nur eine Option, falls Ihr das gerne möchtet. Du kannst Deinen Beitrags-Bloglink wie immer  über den InLinkzs Button hier posten.
